Objectives as Councillor:

My objectives as a Councillor are to promote issues relating to rural health, especially the disadvantages rural communities face in receiving high quality medical care.

At a broader level, I also seek to strive for better working conditions and remuneration for all medical practitioners. I want to see the State government and Area Health Services more accountable in their management practices and to stop the erosion of clinical privileges and autonomy for doctors in the hospital system. I would like to see AMA providing improved member services and better communication with its membership.
