The AMA’s (NSW) legal team provides extensive advice on a range of medico-legal matters such as subpoenas and privacy. The Medico-legal team is also responsible for reviewing and making detailed submissions on legislation affecting the medical profession and contributing to The NSW Doctor.
The medico-legal department also administers the AMA’s Duty Solicitor Referral Scheme which provides members with highly specialised legal advice from our affiliated firm; Tress Cox.
